Advice Needed - 15U or 16U
« on: November 03, 2017, 01:04:37 PM »
Over the course of the Summer and Fall my son has developed into a good pitcher. We have been told that if he works hard and continues to develop, he could pitch at the college level. We are not looking at D1, but rather a D2 or D3 school where baseball can supplement a high level academic career.

My son pitched 14u in the Summer and 15u in the Fall. Next spring, should he pitch 15U and 16U? If he pitched 15U I would hope he would be on a the top team. In 16U, perhaps he would be on a "b" team.

BTW---physically he will have no trouble competing with the older boys---he is a big strong kid.

Any guidance would be helpful.
